Director of Sales and Events - Adventures Aquarium

Job Description

Adventure Aquarium has over 15,000 aquatic animals including the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast. We also are the home to Genny and Button, our 2 Nile hippos. We are conveniently located on the Camden, New Jersey Waterfront, just two miles from Center City, Philadelphia. Adventure Aquarium offers a unique setting events like weddings, holiday parties, bar and bat mitzvahs, proms, and galas. We also have a large café with seating for around 250 people, a coffee shop, sweet treats stand and a beer garden.

The Field Sales Manager II is responsible for driving revenue growth through both personal sales production and leadership of the sales, catering, and operational teams. This position actively develops and manages client relationships, identifies new business opportunities, and leads the sales process from prospecting through contract execution. In addition to maintaining an individual sales portfolio, the Field Sales Manager II provides formal and informal coaching, training, and development in prospecting, cold calling, consultative selling, presentation delivery, product knowledge, and proposal development. The role also partners with operational leadership to support strategic planning, workforce scheduling, implementation of new initiatives, process improvements, and execution of operational best practices to ensure exceptional guest experiences and business performance.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $77,000.00 to $100,000.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze account profitability.
• Work with your Sales Team to stimulate new insights as it relates to selling techniques, advertising, and effective market penetration.
• Plan, develop and implement sales strategies tailored to potential clients, and keep informed on competitive services and pricing.

Qualifications

• 3 -5 years managing an outside B2B sales team.
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Must be able to provide evidence of a proven track record leading an outside B2B sales team to success in a quota driven environment.
• Experience training others how to influence decision makers at all levels of an organization, from a CEO to a front office professional.
• Must be motivated by seeing others grow, develop and succeed in a fast paced sales environment.
• Prior experience in sales role specializing in new business acquisition is strongly preferred
