Details Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM Requirements Active Ohio or compact RN license required in hand Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start Minimum 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation Additional Information Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only Expected to work every other holiday Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Prior permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date RTO must be discussed and finalized during the interview process American Traveler Job ID P-727255.
