Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager will assist DGS in delivering DCPS capital projects by providing technical oversight, schedule and budget management, stakeholder coordination, field monitoring, and portfolio management.

Required qualifications:

Qualified professional with 1 to 3 years of experience in organizing and managing a range of construction projects from beginning to end.
Demonstrated success managing capital and/or public-sector construction projects.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects of varying scales and complexity.
Full project lifecycle experience: planning, procurement, design, permitting, construction, turnover, and warranty.
Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to coordinate with multiple agencies, contractors, design teams, and community stakeholders.
Ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and support decision-making.
Familiarity with public sector project types, standards, and processes.

This is a fulltime onsite position.

Location: DGS Headquarters: 3924 Minnesota Ave NE, Washington, DC 20019

Salary range: $70,307- $86,477 YR
