Operations Manager

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily landscape construction operations. This role is responsible for managing crews, driving project execution, supporting field leadership, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate has a strong background in landscape construction operations, team leadership, and high‑end project execution. Primary Responsibilities Oversee daily landscape construction operations, including scheduling crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors Manage multiple landscape construction projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, efficiency, and profitability Work closely with project managers, foremen, and field teams to support successful project execution Monitor labor productivity, project timelines, and operational performance metrics Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and client satisfaction Assist with project planning, staffing, logistics, and resource allocation Collaborate with estimating and sales teams during project handoff and pre‑construction planning Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of field staff and crew leaders Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles Identify and resolve operational issues proactively to minimize delays and maintain project momentum Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and safety procedures Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts across construction operations Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project execution Qualifications 5+ years of experience in landscape construction operations, project management, or field leadership Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, site work, grading, drainage, hardscaping, planting, irrigation, and related construction practices Experience managing crews, schedules, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and construction documents Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage deadlines and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment Experience with budgeting, labor management, and operational planning preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel and construction/project management software preferred Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Benefits 401k with Company Match Health Dental Vision Life Insurance PTO and Company Holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
