Kronenberger Rosenfeld is a 20-year-old collaborative boutique law firm that focuses on speech, advertising, intellectual property, privacy, and internet-related issues. We are a team of relentless advocates who help people and businesses solve legal issues relating to digital media and technology. We are looking for a self-starter litigation paralegal who will be involved in all aspects of the firm’s preparation and filing of litigation documents, in both federal and state court. We desire an organized and assertive task-master to keep our litigation processes running smoothly and to maintain our high quality of work product.

Kronenberger Rosenfeld, LLP is seeking an experienced paralegal, with at least 4 years of paralegal experience, to join our growing firm. The successful candidate must be familiar with civil litigation rules and procedures in federal court, be able to multi-task, and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team. The successful candidate will primarily work remotely, but will be able to use our offices in downtown San Francisco, California as needed or desired. This is a great opportunity to join a growing legal team and work on cutting-edge legal issues.

While we often work opposite traditional law firms, we are not one of them. We take pride in the fact that our office is very friendly and respects employees’ time at and away from the office. We work from 9 to 6 PST, but late nights and weekend work are rare. We value Fierce Advocacy, Curiosity, and Integrity.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of paralegal litigation experience;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Westlaw;
• Experience overseeing document productions;
• Experience cite-checking briefs and filing documents with courts through various e-filing platforms;
• Comfort with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure;
• Laser focused on impeccable grammar and writing skills; and
• Experience calendaring pre-trial and trial deadlines.

Duties:

• Serve as a task-master to ensure documents are prepared and filed on time;
• Assist attorneys in preparing templates for pleadings, motions, and discovery documents;
• Proof, cite check, assemble, and file documents with various courts, including coordinating with court staff when necessary;
• Draft routine correspondence;
• Assist in document review and production, including through our e-discovery platform;
• Help maintain our firm’s document processing and management systems;
• Work with third-party vendors on service of documents;
• Help manage our litigation calendar, including by monitoring case dockets; and
• Maintain regular office hours of roughly 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific time, or as otherwise negotiated if located in another time zone.
