Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas Special Education License required
• Experience working in early childhood or elementary special education settings
• Expertise supporting students with autism and significant needs preferred
• Strong collaboration skills for partnering with support staff, therapists, and families
• Commitment to individualized instruction and diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction, behavioral support, and individualized programming to students in an intensive needs classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure specialized instruction and progress toward goals
• Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Collect and maintain data on student progress, behaviors, and curriculum adaptations
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and school activities as required
• Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students
