Make an immediate impact as a Special Education Teacher supporting early childhood and elementary students with intensive needs, including autistic youth. This is a full-time, onsite contract role based in a supportive educational environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Kansas Special Education teaching license (required)
• Experience working with early childhood and elementary-age students, especially in intensive skills or autistic support settings
• Strong classroom management and individualized instructional skills
• Effective communicator with students, families, and staff
• Dedicated to creating a positive, structured, and empathetic learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with intensive needs
• Use evidence-based strategies to support student learning in an autistic classroom setting
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor progress and adjust instructional methods to meet each student’s goals
• Communicate regularly with families about student achievements and challenges
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and documentation required by state and federal guidelines
