Reporting to the Head Coach of Men’s Gymnastics, this position serves as the primary lead for program operations while providing limited, supplemental coaching support. The role is responsible for managing all logistical, administrative, and operational functions of the program, ensuring efficient day-to-day execution and full compliance with NCAA and institutional policies. This position is a fixed-term role ending on May 31, 2027. Your responsibilities include: Operations & Administration (Primary Focus) Oversee daily operations of the men’s gymnastics program Plan and execute all team and recruiting travel (transportation, lodging, meals, itineraries) Manage team calendar and scheduling platforms (e.g., ARMS) Maintain and submit CARA logs in coordination with compliance Coordinate all program scheduling, including practices, competitions, and team events Track and manage program budget, including travel and operational expenses Process purchasing, reimbursements, and financial reconciliations Serve as liaison to athletic department units (compliance, academics, business office, facilities, communications, marketing, equipment, development) Supervise student managers and coordinate administrative workflows Home Meet & Event Operations Serve as operations lead for all home competitions Coordinate logistics for visiting teams, officials, and event staff Manage officials’ contracts, travel, and payment Oversee event execution in collaboration with facilities, marketing, and game operations staff Recruiting Operations Coordinate logistics for official and unofficial visits (travel, lodging, meals, itineraries) Support recruiting communication systems and database management Assist coaching staff in organizing recruiting activities and campus experiences Program Support Coordinate team meals, community service initiatives, and special events Assist with alumni engagement and program functions (e.g., banquets) Support equipment ordering and inventory management Assist with camps and external program operations Coaching (Limited Role) Provide supplemental coaching support during practice and competition as assigned Assist with skill instruction, drills, and conditioning under the direction of the Head Coach Support a positive, disciplined, and high-performance team environment Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 1–3 years of experience in collegiate athletics operations, coaching, administration, or as a student-athlete (graduate assistant experience acceptable). Preferred Experience in NCAA Division I athletics. Background in men’s gymnastics. Experience with travel coordination, budgeting, and event management. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of NCAA rules and compliance requirements Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, staff, and external partners High attention to detail and professionalism Proficiency in standard office software and athletics systems (e.g., Teamworks) Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required Integrity & Compliance Must uphold the highest standards of integrity and ensure full compliance with NCAA, conference, and university policies, contributing positively to the mission and reputation of the athletics program. The expected pay range for this position is $70,720– $72,500/annum.
