What You'll Do

  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
  • Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, ensuring understanding and comfort
  • Document patient information accurately and timely in medical records
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced life support skills

What You Need

Required:

  • Valid Louisiana RN license
  • BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience
  • Strong clinical skills and effective communication abilities

Preferred:

  • Additional certifications in specialized areas of nursing
  • Experience working in fast-paced emergency environments
