RN - ER Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room setting required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI required Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Patient ratio experience of 4:1 Proficient in charting systems, preferably Epic Description:The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Emergency Room setting.The role includes managing a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults.Daily patient visits are approximately 160.The nurse will respond to various emergency situations and manage critical care cases.Responsibilities also include performing advanced nursing procedures and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.The nurse must be comfortable with emergency event protocols and working extended shifts as needed.Certifications such as ACLS and CPI are essential for this role.Nursing staff will be expected to work collaboratively with physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy among others.The Registered Nurse will need to demonstrate skills in managing acute and chronic conditions, including trauma cases.Crisis management and behavioral health competencies are essential.This role requires adherence to safety and infection control guidelines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
