Operations Yard Support Technician

Job Title Operations Yard Support Technician Location Houston, TX 77041 Pay $16.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience Hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Why Freedom Waterworks? What You'll Do Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all operations yards, including Ductile, Steel, Paint, and Warehouse areas. Pick up trash, debris, scrap materials, and other hazards throughout the facility. Assist with keeping outdoor work areas organized, clean, and free of safety hazards. Conduct routine inspections of yards and common areas to identify housekeeping and safety concerns. Support OSHA compliance efforts by maintaining safe walkways, work areas, and storage locations. Ensure materials, equipment, and designated storage areas remain organized and accessible. Assist operations teams with general yard cleanup and housekeeping projects as needed. Help prepare facilities and yards for customer visits, audits, inspections, and company events. Report safety concerns, damaged equipment, or facility issues to management. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support operational efficiency. What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability. Nice to Have Previous experience in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or yard environments. Knowledge of OSHA housekeeping and workplace safety practices. Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained). Experience operating basic hand tools and cleanup equipment. Bilingual in English and Spanish Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Safety Manager.
