The Adult Mental Disability Solution Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to provide high-quality, culturally sensitive therapy to our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs and circumstances, ensuring that care is adaptive and responsive.
• Maintain a caseload that varies according to program requirements, providing therapy on a schedule that accommodates clients and supports therapeutic progress.
• Engage effectively with the multidisciplinary treatment team—including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals—to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes.
• Utilize telehealth technology adeptly, ensuring an effective therapy experience, and documenting all sessions in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate actively in regular team meetings and case discussions, contributing insights and sharing strategies that improve client services and treatment efficacy.
• Facilitate workshops or support groups as needed to foster community engagement and promote mental health awareness and education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to serving a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, families, and adults with various mental health challenges. A focus on culturally responsive practices is imperative, as our clients come from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Sensitivity to individual differences in how mental health issues are expressed will be a key aspect of your counseling approach.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a reliable means of maintaining contact with clients through virtual platforms.
• Proficiency in using telehealth systems and tools for virtual therapy delivery and documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community mental health settings or providing telehealth services is preferred.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and cultural competency in therapeutic approaches.
• Experience with evidence-based treatments and therapeutic modalities relevant to various demographics and presenting issues.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload management.
