School Speech Language Pathologist - Los Altos, California

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) specializing in preschool programs. This full-time role, running from March 30 to June 3, offers 30 hours per week serving a caseload of 14 students in a school setting located in Los Altos, CA.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individual and group therapy tailored to preschool-aged children.
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and compliance with relevant educational and therapeutic regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development related to speech and language services in schools.

Qualifications:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
• Experience working in school settings, especially with preschool-aged children.
• Knowledge of early childhood speech and language development and related therapy techniques.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently while delivering high-quality care.
