Client Accounting Services Manager

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the firm in a manager-level capacity, overseeing client-facing bookkeeping operations and ensuring the integrity of financial records across a diverse client portfolio. The right candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to lead a team while maintaining high standards of accuracy ahead of reporting and tax deadlines. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage bookkeeping functions for a portfolio of clients spanning multiple industries, ensuring timely and accurate financial recordkeeping Perform and oversee account reconciliations including bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Review and maintain the accuracy of transaction recording within accounting software platforms Analyze and refine journal entries to ensure proper financial reporting Conduct thorough reviews of periodic and year-end financial statements before distribution internally or externally Partner cross-functionally with other departments to align financial data with broader reporting and compliance needs Coach, develop, and support a team of accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement Evaluate existing workflows and champion process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting quality Act as a subject matter resource for client inquiries involving complex bookkeeping matters Qualifications 5+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping capacity, with preference given to candidates from client-service or multi-account environments Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) Solid command of full-cycle accounting principles including reconciliations and journal entries Familiarity with payroll processes and how they integrate with financial reporting Demonstrated ability to review financial statements for completeness and accuracy Cross-industry experience is a plus Proven ability to lead and develop staff in a professional setting Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal CPA or equivalent credential is welcomed but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
