Commercial HVAC Installer

Responsibilities: * Installation : * Install, connect, and test HVAC systems in commercial buildings. * Interpret and follow blueprints and specifications to ensure proper installation. * Install electrical wiring and controls for HVAC systems. * Fit and solder refrigerant lines, ducts, and pipes. * Maintenance and Repair : * Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions. * Perform regular maintenance and tune-ups to ensure system efficiency. * Replace or repair damaged or worn-out components. * System Upgrades and Retrofits : * Upgrade outdated HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency. * Retrofit existing systems to meet new building codes or client specifications. * Documentation and Reporting : * Keep detailed records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. * Complete necessary paperwork for permits and inspections. * Report to supervisors and project managers on job progress and any issues encountered. * Team Collaboration : * Work with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers. * Supervise and train junior HVAC technicians and apprentices. * Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of projects. * Physical Requirements : * Lift and carry heavy equipment and materials. * Work in confined spaces and at heights. * Perform tasks that require physical strength and stamina.
