Experienced Custom Art Framer needed for position in busy frame shop in Charlotte. We have been in business for over 20 years. Campania Fine Moulding frames artwork for museums, collectors, galleries, and interior designers. Framing experience is a major plus, but it is not required if you have an art background (art degree/education, gallery or museum work, etc).
We are looking for a person with some experience and an interest to learn more; detail oriented, ability to work with tools required for custom framing. Positive attitude and excellent customer service required. You'll work with designers and gallery owners to design the best frame for the artwork needed.Job duties would include:
- Art handling & storage
- Conservation framing (fitting, mat/glass/material cutting)
- Framing finishing and inspection
- You must be available to work 8am to 5:00 pm Mon -Thurs, 7:30am - 1pm Friday. Additional hours may be required during busy seasons.
