Shipping and Receiving Manager/Warehouse Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Shipping and Receiving Manager/Warehouse Manager – Industrial Manufacturing to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading teams from the floor, and can confidently communicate across departments. This is a highly visible leadership position where you will drive operational efficiency, ensure accurate inventory control, and play a key role in supporting production and customer delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a shipping and receiving team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven work environment.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound shipments, scheduling, and workflow prioritization.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions within ERP systems to maintain real-time visibility.
• Partner cross-functionally with production, operations, and internal stakeholders to support business needs.
• Implement and maintain inventory control best practices, including proper storage and material flow methodologies (e.g., FIFO).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and throughput in logistics processes.
• Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment, including forklifts and other warehouse tools, while promoting a strong safety culture.
• Provide hands-on support as needed to maintain operational flow and meet shipment deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in shipping & receiving and warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams while remaining hands-on in daily operations.
• Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification and operate equipment as needed.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,000 + 10% Bonus
