Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday; 8 hour shifts between 7am and 5pm, with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with experience in a hospital inpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stroke evaluation and treatment. You will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality therapy services to patients recovering from strokes and other neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individual treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Perform manual therapy for neuro re-education and therapeutic exercises.
• Facilitate functional activities and self-care training.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, and Bioness.
• Document patient progress using the Meditech Expanse system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in inpatient rehabilitation.
• Experience with stroke patient evaluation and treatment required.
• No specific certifications required.
