Surgical Technician

*Job Summary and Responsibilities* As our Surgical Tech at CHI Williston Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you'll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can't operate without you. The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process. *Prepare & Maintain:* Set up procedure rooms with all necessary instrumentation, equipment, and supplies. *Sterile Expertise:* Demonstrate mastery of sterile technique, sterilization processes, environmental controls, and instrument decontamination. *Team Support:* Establish and maintain an organized sterile field, ensuring all team members adhere to sterile environment protocols. *Surgical Assistance:* Assist surgeons by providing visualization of the surgical wound, aiding with wound closure, and applying sterile dressings. *Anatomy & Instrumentation:* Apply your knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to surgical procedures, and advance your understanding of instrumentation across various surgical services. *Accuracy & Safety:* Perform accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts according to established procedures. *We are offering a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.* *Job Requirements**Required* Successful completion of a Surgical Technologist Program Certified First Assistant - Certified Surgical Technologists (CST/CSFA) Unlicensed Assistive Person: ND (UAP:ND) Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) Where You'll Work CHI Williston Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, have a variety of skills from clinical to project management.
