Billing Specialist

We are seeking a Billing Specialist in the Portland area. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payment processing, account reconciliation, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.This position plays a key role in supporting the company's financial operations by maintaining accurate billing records, resolving discrepancies, and helping drive efficient cash flow management.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on scheduleReview billing information for completeness and accuracyProcess adjustments, credits, and billing corrections as neededResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and customer inquiriesMonitor customer accounts and assist with collections effortsPost payments and maintain accurate account recordsReconcile accounts and investigate outstanding balancesCollaborate with internal departments to ensure billing accuracyMaintain detailed documentation and billing recordsAssist with month end close activities and reportingSupport process improvements and workflow efficiencies
