Non Profit Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager (Confidential Search) Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Bonus Potential Overview We’re partnering with a stable, well-established organization to find an Accounting Manager who wants a meaningful, hands‑on role with strong visibility across the finance team. This position sits pretty close to the Controller level in terms of responsibility, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting into the details, without necessarily wanting to move into an executive track right away. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure clean, timely financial reporting Run and/or support the month‑end and year‑end close process Step in on Controller-level responsibilities as needed Work within GASB guidelines, including lease accounting Manage general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial statements Support audits, budgeting, and forecasting Partner with other teams to improve processes and internal controls Work in systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Business Central Qualifications CPA required (open to both newer and more experienced candidates) Background in governmental accounting Familiarity with GASB standards, especially lease accounting Someone who enjoys being hands‑on and detail‑oriented Experience in nonprofit or private environments is helpful but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
