Project Details PROJECT: South Yadkin River PS Upgrades BID DATE: March 28, 2024, at 2 PM OWNER: City of Statesville, NC ENGINEER: McGill Associates, PA (Hickory, NC) Contract Documents Contract documents may be examined at the following locations: Turner Murphy Company, Inc. – 2500 Southway Dr., Rock Hill, SC 29730 Engineer’s office – 1240 9th Street Lane NW, Hickory, NC 28601 Owner’s office – 227 S. Center St., Statesville, NC 28677 Subcontractor Proposals We will be accepting subcontractor proposals for the following trades: Doors & Hardware Electrical Erosion Control Masonry Painting Paving Video Surveillance Portable Toilets and Dumpsters Submittal Requirements Please submit pricing quotes by March 27, 2024. Please include a copy of your certification with your quote. Compliance & Participation We encourage HUB Certified MBE/WBE firms and intend to negotiate for project participation. Bidders must comply with Executive Orders 11246 and 11375 to ensure equal opportunity. MBE/WBE participation goals are 10% pursuant to NCGS 143-128. This project is funded by the State Revolving Fund (SRF); all bidders must comply with applicable requirements, including Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates. A Drug Free Workplace and Non-Discrimination Workplace Policy are required. Quick pay agreements will be provided to meet cash-flow demands.
