Key Responsibilities
- Sushi Preparation: Skillfully prepare a variety of sushi dishes, ensuring freshness and presentation meet our high standards.
- Ingredient Management: Maintain inventory of sushi ingredients and ensure proper storage and handling.
- Menu Collaboration: Work with the kitchen team to develop and improve sushi offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality and cleanliness to uphold safety and health regulations.
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests to provide an exceptional dining experience and address any inquiries about menu items.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a sushi chef or in a similar role within a full-service restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
