Direct Care Supervisor (DOH/LLCP #74936+)

Posting Details Salary: $30.11 - $45.16 hourly ($62,624 - $93,936 annually). Position is Pay Band C8. This posting is for ongoing recruitment and may close at any time. Responsibilities The House Supervisor will directly oversee and manage homes providing services to individuals who are developmentally disabled. Duties include: Assigning staff assignments Auditing documentation Providing training to staff Observing resident behavior Participating as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team Providing highly skilled services to individuals who are mentally or behaviorally ill and who may cause injury to themselves or others Shift schedule: 12:00 am–8:00 am, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, 4:00 pm–12:00 am, including weekends and holidays. Customer/Client Profile Adult individuals who are developmentally disabled and may display behavioral and/or medical challenges. Ideal Candidate Experience as a supervisor Experience working with individuals who are mentally and physically disabled and/or display behavioral challenges Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma and four years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Employment Requirements This is a safety-sensitive position requiring pre‑employment and random drug/alcohol testing, criminal background checks, a valid New Mexico Driver’s License, and a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate or completion of the course. Successful completion of HIPAA training is required. Working Conditions Work takes place in an office setting and in community‑based homes. The role requires the ability to lift, push, transfer, or carry up to 50 lb unassisted and over 100 lb with assistance. Exposure to unpredictable violent behavior may occur. Daily driving and occasional overnight stays may be required. Physical tasks include sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
