Receiving Clerk

Job Full Description

Aviation needs a receiving clerk or 2.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Receive and unload various trucks and process incoming aircraft parts in an efficient, and organized manner
• Ensure loads are safe and secure prior to the unloading process • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of incoming shipments and deliver to the designated warehouse area • Communicate with purchasing on any receiving/vendor delivery issues • Place all received damaged parts on the accurate shelf per company procedures • Merge part numbers in the system as needed • Ensure that all expiration information is correct on the parts coming through the receiving department • Comply with and ensure adherence to proper operational and safety procedures • Ensure receiving area stays clean
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• Strong knowledge of using a PC for data entry
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to locate and handle parts in a warehouse environment
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports
• Ability to complete work in a timely manner
• Ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts
Qualifications
• Job related experience for 2 years minimum
Physical Demands
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, overhead reaching, keyboarding, etc. during the work day. The employee must frequently lift, carry, grasp, and/or move items averaging 30 to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm
