SERVPRO® of South Orange County

SERVPRO® of South Orange County is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead referral development, territory growth, and new business generation throughout South Orange County.

This is a hands-on, field-based role for a self-directed professional with restoration industry experience. You will personally manage business development for the location, from identifying prospects and building relationships to generating qualified referrals and growing revenue. This position manages a territory and business development activities; it does not currently include direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to grow referral sources, strengthen existing accounts, and achieve revenue goals.

• Build relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, facility managers, plumbers, contractors, and business owners.

• Conduct consistent prospecting through in-person visits, phone calls, meetings, and targeted follow-up.

• Identify new business opportunities, present SERVPRO® services, and ask for referrals.

• Represent the company at professional associations, networking events, lunch-and-learns, and continuing education opportunities.

• Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, including contacts, activity, opportunities, and next steps.

• Provide ownership and management with regular updates on account development, referral activity, and territory revenue.

• Collaborate with operations to communicate customer needs and support a smooth handoff from referral to service delivery.

• Ensure presentations and business development materials follow SERVPRO® brand standards.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of business development or outside sales experience with SERVPRO® or another restoration company.

• Demonstrated success generating referrals, developing accounts, and meeting sales goals.

• Strong understanding of restoration services and the needs of insurance and property management referral partners.

• Confidence with prospecting, cold calling, presentations, and asking for business.

• Ability to independently plan daily activity, manage a territory, and follow through on opportunities.

• Strong communication, organization, and reporting skills.

• Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools.

• Ability to travel regularly throughout South Orange County for meetings, site visits, and events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Established professional relationships within the South Orange County market.

• Experience developing commercial accounts.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
