Cost Accountant

Salary: USD80000 - USD120000 per year Cost Accountant Location: Pennington, NJ (Onsite/Hybrid - with ability to be remote) A well-established and growing organization in the Pennington, NJ area is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with manufacturing or operations experience who enjoys analyzing costs, improving processes, and partnering with business leaders to drive profitability. Strong SAP experience is required . Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing and operational costs, inventory balances, and product profitability. Perform standard cost updates, cost rollups, and variance analysis. Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Monitor inventory valuation and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Generate financial reports and KPIs using SAP and Excel. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit support. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Required: Hands-on experience with SAP. Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis. Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
