Senior Accountant, Development

Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a Senior Accountant, Development to join their Manhattan, NY office.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze the general ledger and financial statements, and prepare appropriate accrual and adjusting journal entries in accordance with GAAPCompile detailed monthly, quarterly, and year-end work papersCoordinate monthly construction loan requisitionsReview and code contractor/vendor invoices, coordinate invoice approvals, monitor loan budgets, ensure timely funding of loan requisitions, and oversee vendor paymentsSupport the management of auditor engagements for the completion of annual audit reportsDeliver timely and accurate information to owners, lenders, and outside partnersVerify that all job cost transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system and reflected in job cost reportsExecute special projects as assigned by managementRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting3+ years of accounting experienceConstruction or property accounting experience is a plusPublic, combo, or private experienceKnowledge of JD Edwards/Textura/Hubble reporting software is a plusCPA preferredJob ID # 47742Tagged as: Hybrid Remote/OfficeDate Posted:Posted on January 15, 2026Location:New York, NY, USAJob Title:Senior Accountant, DevelopmentSalary:$90,000 - $110,000
