Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Title: First Shift SupervisorDepartment: ProductionReports To: Operations ManagerShift: First Shift - 4:00am - 2:30pmJob SummaryThe First Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations during the hours of 4:00am to 2:30pm, ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with company policies. This role includes supervising staff, handling issues, and maintaining smooth workflow throughout the shift. Also, following the proper opening procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesStaff SupervisionSupervise and coordinate activities of day shift employeesAssign duties and ensure tasks are completed in the time givenEnforce company policies and safety regulationsEnsure staff follow proper procedures and rulesMonitor employee performance and make sure they stay on taskReporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate shift reports and logsSubmit weekly reports to Operations ManagerTrack attendance and overtimeUsing ERP system to verify and correct job hoursInventoryMonitor inventory levels and report shortages to managementUsing ERP system to draw correct materials for current and upcoming jobsTeam CoordinationConduct shift briefings and handoversWork with the team to ensure production runs smoothlyMake sure team knows the schedule and they have all tools to stay on trackSkills & QualificationsStrong leadership and decision-making skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently during night hoursProblem-solving and conflict resolution skillsBasic computer and reporting skills (Excel, Outlook)Able to follow lock up proceduresBilingualis a plusWorking ConditionsFirst shift hours 4:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday (may include weekends)Requires standing, walking, and supervising staff for extended periodsParadigm Parachute & Defense, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
