Volks Resources LLC is actively looking for a dedicated People Operations (Payroll & Onboarding) professional to join our team in Plano. This full-time, on-site role is crucial for streamlining our payroll processes and enhancing the onboarding experience for new employees within the staffing and recruiting industry.

In this position, you will play a key role in managing payroll operations while ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. You will collaborate with various departments to uphold our commitment to operational excellence and employee satisfaction. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accuracy in payroll calculations
• Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation and training
• Collaborate with HR and management to improve onboarding workflows
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and onboarding procedures
• Maintain payroll records and employee information in HRIS
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Assist in preparing payroll reports and audits
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the People Operations department

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and employee onboarding
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
