Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $58,240 $70,720 DOE

They are seeking a Staff Accountant to join their finance team and support accurate, transparent financial operations that make meaningful educational work possible.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant role:

• Manage accounts payable, invoice approvals, ACH, and check payments
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and maintain prepaid schedules
• Support accruals, fixed asset tracking, and banking activity
• Process employee reimbursements and purchasing card transactions
• Assist with sales tax, 1099s, unclaimed property filings, and audit support
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely, accurate processing

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Working knowledge of GAAP and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel and experience managing multiple competing deadlines
• Clear communication skills and a customer-service mindset
• Growth mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelors degree in accounting preferred, or equivalent experience

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position operating in a hybrid work environment with regular onsite collaboration in Seattle, WA.
