Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, perform appropriate assessments, and document care accurately.
- Collaborate with the obstetric team to support labor, delivery, postpartum care, and patient education.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhere to infection control practices, and advocate for patient-centered care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- L&D experience preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced obstetric setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional obstetric certifications (e.g., NRP) preferred
- Ability to fulfill a 12-hour night shift schedule
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
