Sr. Business Analyst

Job Summary: The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for leading requirements discovery, analysis, and documentation for client implementations on the LifePRO platform. This role combines strong business analysis expertise with LifePRO domain knowledge to translate business needs into clear, actionable solution requirements. This position applies business analysis leadership across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, solution design support, testing, implementation, and handoff. The Lead Business Analyst partners closely with business users, senior stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, support teams, and project teams to drive solution clarity, manage requirement changes, mitigate delivery risks, and help ensure successful outcomes. This opportunity is well suited for an experienced business analyst who can lead discussions, mentor team members, and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced client environment Responsibilities: Lead requirements elicitation sessions with clients and internal stakeholders to capture business needs, workflows, rules, and functional requirements. Create clear business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and supporting documentation for solution delivery. Partner with business, product, development, and QA teams to translate requirements into effective solution designs and implementation plans. Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and solution discussions to align stakeholders and drive decision-making. Support test planning, test case development, and validation activities to ensure requirements are implemented accurately. Analyze requirement changes, assess impacts to scope, risk, and effort, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders. Identify and help resolve business and system issues by partnering with development, QA, and support teams during delivery and post-implementation. Serve as a subject matter resource for new business and underwriting processes within LifePRO implementations. Mentor junior analysts, support best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement across the business analysis function Mandatory Skills: Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices. Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with data analysis tools and techniques. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders. Experience mentoring junior team members and driving process improvement initiatives. Working knowledge of actuarial concepts and insurance product structures is a plus Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, information systems, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, including writing business requirements and functional specifications. Experience working on medium to large-scale technology or business transformation projects.
