Now Hiring: Twos Teacher (Immediate Opening)
Ellicott City, MD
Pay: $17–$20/hour

Bambini Montessori Academy is actively seeking a passionate and caring Twos Teacher to join our team as soon as possible. We are looking for an educator who is ready to step into a meaningful role and help guide young learners during their most important developmental years.

Rooted in Montessori philosophy, our school provides a nurturing, structured, and engaging environment for children from infancy through age five. We are committed to supporting each child’s growth academically, socially, and emotionally while maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance.

As a Twos Teacher, you will create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where learning happens through exploration and guided instruction. You will:

• Plan and implement daily lessons aligned with Maryland Early Learning Standards and Montessori principles
• Maintain a structured and nurturing classroom environment that supports early development
• Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and milestones
• Guide positive behavior and support smooth classroom routines and transitions
• Build strong, professional communication with families regarding student development
• Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to ensure a consistent learning experience
• Maintain accurate records including attendance, progress reports, and incident documentation
• Ensure full compliance with MSDE and OCC licensing requirements
• Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing professional development

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and ready to contribute to a supportive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 19 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion or willingness to complete MSDE-required training:
  • 90-hour Preschool Certification
  • 45-hour Child Growth & Development
  • 45-hour Preschool Curriculum
  • 9-hour Communication Course
  • Basic Health & Safety Training
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Maryland State background check and fingerprint clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Montessori certification (AMI, AMS, or MACTE)
• 2+ years of experience in a licensed early childhood program
