Role Summary Provides management oversight of multiple nursing neighborhoods, assisting the Director of Nursing and acting as a resource for staff regarding administrative programs, policies, and procedures. Promotes collaboration with healthcare disciplines, sets a positive example, and ensures compliance with policies. Analyzes problems, offers recommendations, investigates incidents, and follows up appropriately. Addresses resident concerns, communicates with stakeholders, and collaborates on bed assignments and admissions. Leads infection prevention and control initiatives, overseeing policies, staff education, and compliance with standards. Participates in quality assurance and safety committees, conducts rounds, and monitors resident care activities, including restorative and restraint reduction programs. Coordinates staff evaluations, provides counseling, and manages staffing to ensure safe, quality care. Completes documentation, manages incident reports, and supports compliance with public health reporting. Occasional care plan meetings and monitoring of therapy programs are included. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's preferred Current RN license Specialized training in infection prevention and control 3-4 years of recent nursing experience with supervisory skills; management experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and planning abilities Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and transfer residents and equipment safely Manual dexterity, coordination, and attention to detail Proficient in documentation and managing diverse activities #J-18808-Ljbffr Mental Health Association of Rochester
