Daily Operations Float (Patient Access & Centralized Sceduling)

**Position Summary** Responsible for providing administrative support to designated physicians, including answering telephones, performing registration duties, scheduling appointments, and updating patient accounts.**Locations:** Geneva and Elgin, Illinois (must be able to travel between locations) **Status:** Full-Time (40 Hours/week) **Hours:** Monday - Friday, including rotating evenings and rotating weekends **Starting Pay Range:** $20 - $22/Hour**Essential Job Functions*** Greet and direct patients.* Answer telephone callas and assist or direct callers as appropriate.* Perform registration ensuring timely and accurate completion of documentation.* Responsible for scheduling patient appointments and/or tests and assisting in obtaining necessary referrals.* Maintain accurate and complete patient records.* Facilitate internal communication regarding physician schedule changes and issues pertaining to patient care.* Obtains accurate patient information when answering and returning telephone calls.* Transfers calls and/or patient cases to the appropriate departments.* Checks patients in using both electronic tools and paper forms to ensure all necessary patient information and documents are obtained, including insurance card/information, patient identification, physician and insurance referrals, and personal/work injury/third party information as necessary.* Facilitates the scheduling and registration of Urgent Care (unscheduled) patients.* Collects and processes payments keeping an accurate record of payments received.* Performs other duties, as assigned. Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment TB and drug testing.
