Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a rehabilitation facility setting
• Manage a patient assignment at expected ratios of 1:6–8
• Float between units within the facility as operationally needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in weekend coverage on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of every other weekend
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience required
• Must be available for weekend shifts (minimum every other weekend)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Must have 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years (Charge RNs and Leads are acceptable)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler; candidates within 50 miles may be considered under a local rate structure

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience managing higher patient ratios in a fast-paced Med Surg setting
