Business Development Manager – Restoration Services Location: High Point, NC Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $70,000- $80,000 Base Salary + Commission (Based on Experience) Overview A growing restoration services company is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Manager to expand their presence throughout the Charlotte market. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities by building strong relationships with insurance agents, claims adjusters, property managers, commercial partners, and other key referral sources. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who enjoys networking, meeting new people, and creating long-term business relationships. This position requires someone who is comfortable with proactive outreach, including in-person visits, relationship development, and connecting with decision-makers. Restoration industry experience is preferred but not required. The company is looking for someone with a strong sales mindset who understands the value of consistent relationship-building, community involvement, and creating referral partnerships. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, property managers, commercial clients, and other referral partners Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the Charlotte market Conduct in-person outreach and relationship-building visits with potential referral partners Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to generate new business opportunities Meet with key decision-makers to introduce company services and establish partnerships Maintain regular communication with referral sources to strengthen long-term relationships Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, industry associations, and community functions Increase brand awareness and establish the company as a trusted restoration resource in the local market Track business development activities, opportunities, and relationship progress Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive experience for clients and referral partners Qualifications 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or relationship-focused roles preferred Comfortable with cold outreach, including in-person visits and developing new relationships Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility Confident interacting with business owners, executives, insurance professionals, and property managers Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently Strong networking skills and professional presence Ability to represent the company at industry events and community functions Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the Charlotte market Preferred Experience Experience in restoration, construction, insurance, property management, or related industries Existing relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, or property management professionals Experience developing referral-based business Experience with community outreach, networking, or territory sales Base salary: $70,000 – $80,000 depending on experience Commission opportunity based on business development performance Opportunity for career growth with an established and expanding organization Professional networking and development opportunities Ideal Candidate Profile This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community, meeting new people, and creating opportunities.
