Client Executive

Client Executives are responsible for developing new and existing business relationships. If you are a proactive, confident self-starter who thrives in competitive situations and positively influences others through poised charismatic communication, this role is for you. Client Executives are dynamic multitaskers with the ability to focus on several tasks at once and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment. Key characteristics of a Client Executive include: Prior experience in a client-facing environment that provided exposure to “C” level decision makers. An engaged, autonomous personality with a drive to succeed in a team-based environment. Desire to convey an acute value proposition and vision. Adept at building rapport and maintaining relationships. The Client Executive develops new and existing business relationships, analyzes and evaluates risk and insurance programs, builds customized risk management solutions, promotes the Sentinel brand, and oversees a team to deliver an exceptional client experience. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the oversight, management, and implementation of all strategies as they relate to the management and servicing of an account Management and implementation of client experience Business Development Oversight of account claims and service process Center of Influence Development and Management Coordination of weekly account management meeting Coordination of monthly claims meeting Maintenance of CRM Collection and management of Accounts Receivable Generation and communication of account placement strategy Generation and collection of data for new accounts Fostering a positive work environment Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the insurance marketplace and carrier trends Community outreach and involvement PERSONAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Sets priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of and other responsibilities Maintains a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts Remains up to date regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: High School education or equivalent. Completion of CPCU, AAI, CIC, or CISR designation preferred. Property & Casualty Insurance License, or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment. Ability to analyze complex insurance situations, needs, and options and communicate these options verbally and in writing in a clear, concise manner. Ability to understand written and oral communication, and interpret abstract information. General knowledge of insurance products and usages. General knowledge of insurance markets and reference to markets. General knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures. Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables. Strong computer skills with and familiarity with tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and AMS. Ability to manage complex projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and take the lead on all elements of client servicing. Negotiation and presentation skills.
