Sales Manager (Part Time)

Job Overview As a Part‑Time Sales Manager, you will be the first face of Carter's for growing families, helping new parents and grandparents navigate baby essentials and early education moments. Responsibilities Become a product and brand expert, guiding families from preemie to size 14. Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits. Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor. Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers. Consistently model service standards and omni‑channel experience while coaching others to success. Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow‑through. Perform leader‑on‑duty supervisor responsibilities, driving results and resolving customer concerns in a timely, appropriate manner. Use customer feedback to identify opportunities and implement actions that drive results. Build customer loyalty through company‑sponsored programs, including credit. Provide consistent, in‑the‑moment feedback to the store team and raise performance concerns to the Store Manager. Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation. Support the store team with asset protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls. Qualities Desired Positive and solutions‑oriented mindset. Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation, etc.). A high school diploma or GED. Physical Requirements Lifts up to 40 pounds, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Stands or walks for extended periods; climbs up and down a ladder. Provides availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
