UCSF Fresno/Inspire Health Emergency Medicine - Ultrasound

Overview The Department of Emergency Medicine at UCSF Fresno is recruiting core Ultrasound Fellowship faculty to join our EUFAC-accredited Advanced Emergency Ultrasonography Fellowship Training Program . Additional responsibilities include supervision of the residency ultrasound curriculum, which features a foundational ultrasound rotation in the PGY-1 year and an advanced rotation in the PGY-4 year. Faculty also participate in regular development sessions and quality assurance (QA) review of resident scans. The ultrasound division is actively working to establish transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and speckle tracking echocardiography capabilities. Current departmental equipment includes five Sonosite Xportes and three BK3500s . Our ultrasound management and QA platform is Fujifilm Synchronicity . Responsibilities Supervise the residency ultrasound curriculum, including the foundational ultrasound rotation in the PGY-1 year and the advanced rotation in the PGY-4 year. Participate in regular development sessions and quality assurance (QA) review of resident scans. Support the establishment of transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and speckle tracking echocardiography capabilities. Contribute to ultrasound division operations and QA using the Fujifilm Synchronicity platform. Qualifications Board certified in Emergency Medicine. Completed or on track to complete an ultrasound fellowship by the time of hire. Focused Practice Designation (FPD) in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasonography is preferred. Hold or be eligible for a California medical license.
