Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand individual student needs, including their mental health concerns, strengths, and support systems.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique contexts of school settings.

• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans, focusing on specific goals and interventions that cater to students’ emotional and psychological needs.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups, promoting peer support and community within the school environment.

• Engage in collaborative care planning with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and outside mental health professionals, to ensure continuity of care.

• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment services, ensuring a safe environment and developing appropriate safety plans for at-risk students.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring timely updates to treatment progress.

This role specifically targets a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide range of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges and trauma. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly with children and adolescents.
