Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions when necessary and evaluating patients’ progress and the effectiveness of interventions using evidence-based practices.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that respect cultural diversity and address specific patient needs, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools such as the DSM-5.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records, reports, and clinical information, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and department protocols.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions to support patient progress, adapting strategies and care plans as required based on continual assessments.

• Act as a liaison between patients and referral sources, coordinating options for care and ensuring seamless communication among treatment providers.

• Provide education and mentoring to students, interns, and volunteers, enhancing the learning environment within the organization.

• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaboration efforts to foster a culture of continuous improvement and support professional development among colleagues.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts.
