Marketing Coordinator

Lanakila Pacific provides programs and services that help seniors and people with cognitive, social, and physical disabilities build independence and improve their quality of life. The Marketing & Development Department helps build awareness of Lanakila Pacific’s mission, programs, and services while strengthening the organization’s brand and community presence. The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in promoting Lanakila Pacific through marketing, communications, fundraising support, and community engagement initiatives. POSITION OVERVIEW The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing and communications initiatives that promote awareness of and support for Lanakila Pacific. This position plans events, develops digital and print marketing materials, manages social media content, supports fundraising and outreach efforts, and coordinates projects from concept to completion. The Marketing Coordinator supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and exemplifies Lanakila Pacific’s STAR service standards. Minimum three (3) years of marketing or communications work experience. Demonstrated print and digital graphic design skills. Experience with photography, video production, editing, and digital content creation. Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, WordPress, or similar programs. Ability to maintain required clearances, including TB clearance, criminal background check, pre-employment drug testing, and Child Protective Services/Adult Protective Services checks. Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract. Preferred Three (3) years of marketing or communications experience in the nonprofit sector. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Position-Specific Duties Plan and coordinate organizational and partner events. Design, write, and produce digital and print marketing materials. Create and manage social media content, graphics, videos, and content calendars. Coordinate website content updates and digital platform maintenance. Research, write, and produce newsletters, annual reports, and other communications. Develop and maintain a media and story library that highlights Lanakila Pacific’s impact. Support fundraising campaigns and community outreach initiatives. Collaborate with departments across the organization to complete marketing projects and requests. Manage project intake, workflows, priorities, and deadlines. Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and statistical data. Represent Lanakila Pacific at community meetings and events. Other Duties Follow safety procedures and organizational policies. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Participate in required training and professional development activities. Support fiscally responsible operations and stewardship of organizational resources. Perform other duties as assigned. EQUIPMENT USE Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of graphic design, content management, and digital marketing platforms. Use of standard office equipment including computers, printers, copiers, and other office technology. WORKING CONDITIONS & HOURS Schedule: Monday through Friday, generally between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on operational needs and may occasionally include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work is performed primarily in an office setting with some outdoor work and travel to other program sites, meetings, and events as needed. MENTAL DEMANDS Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
