Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a per diem pharmacist role in a busy retail pharmacy setting. The position requires working specific dates in August and September, with hours varying between early mornings and evenings. The pharmacist will be responsible for delivering excellent prescription services and supporting daily pharmacy operations in an independent pharmacy environment.

Location: Madison, MS (with training in Jackson, MS prior to assignment)

Schedule:

• August 20, 2026: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• September 14, 2026: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• September 15, 2026: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• September 16, 2026: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• September 17, 2026: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

A 1-2 day training session will be scheduled before August 20 for those unfamiliar with Pioneer RX software.

Qualifications:

• Valid Mississippi State Pharmacist license in good standing, with no negative history
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in retail staff pharmacy
• Experience with Pioneer RX is preferred but not required; comprehensive training will be provided
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, independent pharmacy setting

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies
• Utilize pharmacy software to process prescriptions and maintain records
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth daily operations
