Position Summary As Project Manager, you will oversee project execution, cultivate strong customer relationships, and drive revenue growth through renewals and referrals. This role will serve as the account lead, responsible for managing client projects from inception to completion while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. In addition, the role will involve product management responsibilities, aligning our offerings with customer needs and market trends. You will own and lead multiple simultaneous projects, leveraging the team’s strengths to foster effective collaboration and delivering solutions that meet project objectives while overseeing all project execution metrics (including scope, budget, schedule, risk assessment & mitigation, change management, and project‑level communications). Key Responsibilities Build and maintain customer relationships to ensure a high degree of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and assign appropriate resources to each project, track, identify, and mitigate concerns related to project progress, and monitor project quality. Communicate project updates to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner (including, but not limited to, hosting kickoff and status meetings, completing weekly status reports, and documenting any requested or required changes to project scope, schedule, or cost). Track and manage the project’s scope, schedule, and budget, identifying any potential variances and collaborating with stakeholders to clarify expectations and resolve concerns through a mitigation plan. Develop and maintain project documentation to effectively capture customer needs and manage expectations through the initial Statement of Work and subsequent Change Orders. Interface with 3rd party partners and vendors to facilitate smooth project operations that meet project scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements. Review and release project deliverables and associated acceptance documents as defined in the Statement of Work or subsequent project Change Orders. Work with the management team to resolve problems and evolve processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency. Required Qualifications Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of and demonstrated success using a variety of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Evidence of success in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and excellence. Must reside in the Raleigh‑Durham metro area; relocation may be considered. No visa sponsorship, subcontracting, or fully remote arrangements are available. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing projects in a consulting or services environment. Experience managing technical projects and working with hardware, software, and firmware engineers. Experience managing government contracts. Compensation Starting at $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Work Environment & Physical Demands Work is generally performed in an office environment with minimal exposure to unpleasant or hazardous conditions. Must be able to sit for extended periods, use telephone/headset equipment, and operate a computer terminal for 6–8 hours per day. Must be able to function in an environment with consistent interruptions and, on rare occasions, lift up to 20 lbs.
