Senior Operations Technician (Warehouse & Packaging)

Job Overview The Warehouse / Packaging Senior Technician position is located at our Animal Health facility in De Soto, Kansas. The facility is expanding vaccination and biologic manufacturing for large and companion animals, leveraging fermentation, cell culture, filling and packaging technologies. The role supports the daily completion of production activities including sealed bottle label application, bottle packaging, palletization, process documentation, cycle counting and inventory reconciliation. Responsibilities Work independently and as part of a team to achieve daily production schedules. Maintain accurate documentation using Good Documentation Practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and employ basic problem‑solving skills. Complete cycle counting, inventory reconciliation and other operational tasks as directed. Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Required Skills & Experience Clear verbal and written communication with colleagues at all levels. Follow and comply with Manufacturing/Packaging directions, SOPs, and regulatory policies. Effective time‑management to meet deadlines. Team‑work skills and initiative to support teammates. Basic computer skills, including MS Word and MS Excel. Willingness to work overtime and on business‑required holidays. Assist in training new team members. Operate company forklift and pallet jack. Assist with equipment set‑up and operation. Preferred Skills & Experience Manufacturing/packaging experience. Understanding of aseptic processes. Experience using quality‑improvement tools and continuous‑improvement processes. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Working Conditions Third shift, Monday–Friday, 9:30 pm–6:00 am. Flexibility for overtime, events and weekends as required. Travel not required. Work performed in climatized and non‑climatized areas. Benefits Competitive salary range: $59,100 – $93,000. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive (if applicable).
