Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

• Overtime, shift rotations, and weekend work may be required.

Duration: 3-Month Contract

Overview

Support daily production operations in a food-grade manufacturing facility by operating production equipment, packaging finished products, maintaining a safe work environment, and following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards. This role works closely with the Plant Manager and production team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Packaging

• Operate production equipment, palletizers, packaging equipment, and forklifts as needed.
• Inspect packaging materials before production runs to verify correct materials and inventory.
• Return unused packaging materials after production runs.
• Hand-stack 40-50 lb. bags during production or rework activities.
• Load finished products throughout the shift.
• Complete production documentation and operational reports accurately.

Quality & Food Safety

• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety requirements.
• Ensure products meet food-grade quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the facility.

Safety

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Safely operate forklifts and production equipment.
• Remain flexible with break and lunch schedules based on production demands.

Qualifications

Required

• Manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience working in an industrial or plant environment.
• Ability to lift and hand-stack up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.

Preferred

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience or certification.
• SAP and Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Heavy equipment experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Exposure to dust, noise, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.
• Limited climate control (HVAC).
