Work Environment

You will be working onsite within our state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility, which is designed to cater to athletes and active individuals requiring specialized rehabilitation services. Collaborating with a professional team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will be part of a dynamic environment focused on patient-centered care and progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, establishing individualized care plans that set realistic goals based on their unique needs and rehabilitation objectives.
• Treat an average of 2-3 patients per hour, employing advanced therapeutic modalities to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Implement affordable therapies designed to improve range of motion, strength, balance, and coordination, with an emphasis on non-surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate holistic care strategies and elevate overall patient outcomes.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to document patient treatments and track progress over time.
• Perform regular evaluations and communicate findings to the patient and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring that progress is both monitored and celebrated.
• Encourage patients to engage fully in their rehabilitation journeys, reinforcing the importance of adherence to prescribed therapeutic exercises and wellness regimens.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily support outpatient orthopedic clients facing various musculoskeletal challenges. We cater to a wide range of individuals, from professional athletes to active seniors, all of whom are seeking to restore function, alleviate pain, and prevent future injuries.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida State Physical Therapist License free of any disciplinary actions.
• Proficient manual therapy skills, combined with up-to-date knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Experience in utilizing EMR software such as WebPT for effective patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
