Experienced Physical Therapist for Rehabilitation Facility in North Port, FL

Position Overview

Harmonic Movement Therapies is seeking a talented and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in North Port, Florida. Located in a state-of-the-art 5000 square-foot facility, our practice is equipped with advanced technology and therapeutic equipment, promoting an environment conducive to healing and recovery. Our team comprises experienced professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), who collaborate to deliver high-quality care. We accept various private health insurance providers, ensuring that our patients have access to affordable treatments and interventions.

Work Environment

This is an onsite position, allowing for direct interaction with patients in our fully-equipped rehabilitation facility. You will be working alongside a close-knit team of professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, accommodating a healthy work-life balance while providing ample time to develop meaningful relationships with patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' needs and establish their rehabilitation goals.
• Treat an average of 2-3 patients per hour, providing individualized care based on each patient's unique condition and progress.
• Design and implement comprehensive physical therapy plans, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education.
• Collaborate with other medical specialists to create integrated care plans that optimize patient recovery.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and lifestyle modifications to facilitate improved health outcomes and reduce reliance on prescription medications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedically injured patients, including athletes and individuals engaged in active lifestyles. You will work closely with these patients to provide specialized care aimed at improving their physical performance and overall well-being. Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Current state Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a thorough understanding of rehabilitation methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and care tracking.
• Experience in developing individualized treatment plans tailored to specific patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
